1. I refer to the aforementioned matter and our consultation on the 14th of January
2026.

2. The investigations are proceeding at a glacial pace and are therefore at this point
incomplete in respect of a charge of murder against any person.

3. I am of the view that the available evidence against the accused would at present
permit a trial in the Regional Court.

4. The investigations regarding a charge of murder will however continue and should
they be fruitful, the accused may be Indicted in the High Court.

5. The accused JEAN PIERRE VAN NIEKERK, NJABULO DLAMINI, BANELE
MSELEKU AND LLYOD RAMSBOTTOM must be arraigned in the Regional Court
on the following charges.
